Terms for Truckload and Itl
This applies for Truckload:
Truckloads and whole shipments with a weight of at least 1000 kg.
Max dimensions per package L = 599 cm, W = 240 cm, H = 270 cm.
For packages over 50 kg, L = 299 cm, W = 240 cm, H = 270 cm.
(Larger dimensions must be agreed separately.)
Max weight per package and shipping is limited by the transport vehicle load capacity and road loadability.
Truckload should be booked the day before the desired loading.
Truckload are intended for shipments with an charging weight of 1,000 kg and upwards .
If the actual weight is less than 1000 kg the price will still be based on a charging weight of at least 1,000 kg.
Load size greater with a Volume greater than 3.85 cubic meter(m³), Load meter greater than 0.52 LMT or a Pallet space greater than 1.29 PPL will give a Charging weight that is greater than 1000 kg and therefore also a greater shipment cost.
Goods longer than 3 meter counts as Long goods and is calculated with higher prices. To be able to calculate the correct price we therefor need you to enter the dimensions through the Package & Groupage form for each goods if your shipment includes any long goods at all.
Volume (m³) : Cubic meter is used mainly when the goods are stackable.
Calculated 1 m³ = L x W x H Example: A EUR pallet 1.2 x 0.8 x 1.0 m = 0.96 m³
Loading meters (m) : Loading meters is mainly used when the goods are not stackable and correspond to the place the goods take on the truck's flak.
Calculated 1 ldm = L x W / 2,4 m. Example: En EUR pall 1,2 x 0,8 / 2,4 = 0,4 ldm
Pallet Spaces (ppl) : A full pallet takes 1 ppl and a half pallet takes 0.5 ppl
Example: If the load contains 2 pieces of full pallets and 3 pieces of halv pallets then you must input 3.5 ppl.
